It is Wednesday and that means it’s time for another weekly meme!

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I ended up putting To Kill a Mockingbird away — the fact that I was 135 pages in and nothing had happened to actually grip my attention was enough reason for me to leave the book for now. I’ll probably read it again in the future, because I do want to have it on my ‘read’ shelf, but if I would’ve forced myself to finish it, I would’ve ended up rating it three stars (due to everyone else liking it) when in fact I barely enjoyed the read at all.

Thus, I moved on to a book I picked up in January of this year at a book faire: The Predicteds by Christine Seifert. It has somewhat of a low rating on Goodreads, but I’m curious to see whether I’ll enjoy the story or not.

What did you recently finish reading?

At the moment I don’t think I have a recently finished reading book, which is pretty bad because that means I haven’t written up a review in a bit. Oops. I’m aiming to get through The Diamond Thief relatively quick though, so that should be the next upcoming review if I stick to that planning.

I recently finished Freya Being Freya by Thomas Ullman — the review can be read here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

It’s the same two books as I listed last week — seems like I’ve hit a bit of a bump in the reading road and that’s okay, it’s been a relatively busy week for me and I’ve also gotten ill, so my want to read books has been diminished to about 2% interest every single day. I know I have to read, but focusing on words with a migraine coming on is not a great combination. It’ll be time for some kind of reading sprint soon though, so look out for that!

Not much difference this week, hopefully I’ll be able to bring reviews to you soon and if you are at all bothered by the lack of them, I apologize!

What does your WWW Wednesday look like?

As always, have a lovely day!
