Top Ten Tuesday – Fall TBR (#9)

ttt

It is time for another Top Ten Tuesday in September, as always hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. If you need any more information about this week book meme, feel free to check out the link I just provided.

This week’s top ten is…

Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read list

I don’t really mark anything as a ‘fall read’, I’m not really that professional yet that I separate books by season! I do have a few books that I intend to read in the upcoming period, so I will list those instead.

1. Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston
This is a book that many people have read and I managed to get my hands on a copy through Netgalley, so I’ll be reading that.

2. The Diamond Thief by Sharon Gosling
Been wanting to read this for a while, will start it soon!

3.  The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross
The same as the Diamond Thief, will start it soon.

4. Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
The sequel to Throne of Glass. I just– now, please, soon.

5. Pear Shaped by Stella Newman
Just an easy, happy read I think.

6. Talented by Sophie Davis
Seemed like an interesting read on Netgalley, so I got it

7. The Predicteds by Christine Seifert
I picked this book up in January, haven’t really felt the need to read it. Will do it sometime soon.

8. The Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory
I read a bit of this book before, but I mostly skimmed it. I will now read it fully.

9. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
I have never read the TMI books, and I don’t really feel the need to, either, but from what I’ve heard about the main characters in the Infernal Devices trilogy, I would actually enjoy this a lot.

10. Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Very interested in this, so I can’t wait to start it.

What are your fall reads?

As always, have a good day!

  1. Crown of Midnight is even better than the first book and it gets so crazy! I love The Infernal Devices series, and it’s definitely better than TMI. It has a great storyline, plus it’s set in Victorian England (which is awesome).

    • I saw a giant leap in rating between Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight, which is a good thing! From other people’s enthusiasm, it seems like the second book is really a lot better, so I can’t wait to start it. The fact that TMI is set in Victorian England is indeed one of the reasons why I think I’ll like the series a lot, so I hope I’m not wrong about that!

      • Victorian England was the original reason that I read Clockwork Angel and I’m pretty sure it was my first Cassandra Clare book. It’s really good though and it’s a series that I’ve actually found time to reread, so I hope you enjoy it. 🙂
