You’re only given one little spark of madness.

You mustn’t lose it.

It was a little after midnight after I heard the terrible news that Robin Williams has passed away. Even as I’m writing this now, I’m expecting some news site to just come out and go, “This is a sick joke, everything is fine. Look, there he is.” And it won’t happen. He’s gone.

I personally grew up with Robin Williams movies — I enjoyed watching him in Mrs. Doubtfire, What Dreams May Come — not to mention Flubber, Aladdin and of course, Peter Pan. This man was an acting genius, someone who, without a doubt, was able to bring a smile to my face and to the faces of my family members. I don’t say this often, but he was a legend. I considered him a legend.

I had planned some more posts for today that I was planning on doing, but I’m bowing out on those. Aside from the Top Ten Tuesday that was posted not too long ago, this will be it for today’s content. I will try to join in on WWW Wednesday tomorrow, but if not, you’ll know the reason why it is absent.

Thank you, Robin Williams. Thank you.

  1. It only really hit me when I woke up this morning.

    Absolutely gutted 😦

“The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse….and *you* may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?”
